Type status: hypotype. Geological context: Late Pennsylvanian, Gaptank Fm. Collection locality: Medium gray to light brown weathering limestone, fine grained organic fragmental and calcarenite in part, unit 15 (40 ft thick), Section 43, beginning 1.5 mi SSW of Gap Tank, Pecos County, Texas, USA. Collected by Charles A. Ross. IP number 20561; lot count 1; accn=YPM.06683.
