Collection locality: Cerro Huitepec, Pronatura reserve, trail from Chamula-San Cristobal road to summit, vicinity of Hut 5, Chiapas State, Mexico. Collected by Sweeney, P. W., Michael Donoghue, Deren Eaton, Ivalu Cacho, 2015-06-07. Single stemmed shrub ca. 1.5 meters tall. Fruits reddish purple to dark purple. Collected with Michael Donoghue, Deren Eaton, Ivalu Cacho.; YU number 101653; lot count 1; accn=YPM.12184.
