Type status: holotype. Geological context: Jurassic. Collection locality: Carbon County, Wyoming, USA. Collected by A. B. Kellum, 1886-02-11. partial skeleton including distal humerus, four articulated carpals, a fragment of coracoid, several isolated cervical vertebrae, ribs & rib fragments, additional cervical and dorsal vertebrae; the teeth & cranial material are currently missing; VP number 543; lot count 1; accn=YPM.01822.
