Collection locality: Mexico. skeleton - Audit notes by PFW: Partial skeleton of adult tapir (mainly axial). Postcrania present include both scapulae (right has large hole in body), both innominates articulated at symphysis pubis, sacrum, ribs, vertebrae, sternum. Skull and mandible are in Room 122; are in good condition.; MAM number 8621; original catalog number Osteo 3118 (MAM.O.03118); accn=YPM.00469.
