About this work
Geological context: Middle Ordovician. Collection locality: Lingula in the big sh. Block at the Fisherman's Cove, on the S side of Cow Head. This block was 100 ft. long by 20 ft. thick and stood on edge. The bedding dipping 45 degrees S 40 degrees E, Newfoundland, Canada. Collected by W. S. Edwards, 1918-07-31. IP number 170324; lot count 1; accn=YPM.03450.
