About this work
Collection locality: Sibium Mountains; south of Akupe Camp, Northern, Papua New Guinea. Collected by Shelly A. James, D. Damas, B. Domare, V. Unimba, 2013-02-04. Large tree, to 30 meters tall, dbh 29 centimeters, yellow sap, tan bark, young stems flattened; leaves opposite, 20 x 9.5 centimeters, glabrous, discolorous, abaxial surface pale yellow-green, tip acute, margin entire, red, petiole 4.5 centimeters; flowers not seen; fruits solitary, axillary, globular, 11 x 4.5 centimeters, green becoming yellow, calyx persistent, pedicel 1.5 centimeters.; YU number 94856; lot count 1; accn=YPM.12181.
