Geological context: Late Cretaceous, Fox Hills Fm, Iron Lightning Mbr. Collection locality: all along base of Colgate channel in the amphitheater that faces W toward bluffs, extensive badland exposures along but principally W of head of small drainage system running N to Moreau River, and 4 mi SE of Iron Lightning, Ziebach County, South Dakota, USA. Collected by Karl M. Waage, 1961/1962. IP number 340620; lot count 1; anatomical elements=valve(s); accn=IPA.07048.
