Type status: holotype. Geological context: Jurassic, Morrison Fm. Collection locality: Jefferson County, Colorado, USA. Collected by Arthur Lakes, 1877. occiput, part of braincase, most of the cervical and dorsal vertebrae, sacrum, ribs, ilium, pubis, L & R femora, fibula [[see McIntosh & Berman, 1975, on why the inclusion of the skull material is incorrect]; see VPR.03856]; VP number 1860; lot count 1; accn=YPM.01086; associatedwith=YPMAR.002056.
