Type status: syntype. Collection locality: 30 miles SE. by E. from the eastern light of Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Collected by Merchant, P., Schr. Marion, 1877/1881. CSBR Slide Grant Image 2016; IZ number 4744; lot count 1; Microslide 01, balsam, calicles; type status comment: In the Blake Manuscript text, Verrill refers to pl. 91 fig. 4 as "calicle of type". The microslide is questionably attributed as a derivative of this type lot.
