Geological context: Cretaceous, Fox Hills Fm. Collection locality: between Rawhide Creek and Cheyenne River, most likely from Fox Hills of Lance Creek area, probably bluffs W of Old Woman Creek near Red Bird where Cheyenne-Deadwood trail went (US 85 does now) per KMW, Niobrara County, Wyoming, USA. Collected by Andrew S. Burt, 1875. IP number 308087; lot count 1; accn=YPM.00738.
