Geological context: Late Cretaceous, Fox Hills Fm, lower Trail City Mbr. Collection locality: float, concs., baseball concs., LNAZ & possibly UNAZ Actinosepia concs., confluence of N and S gullys; exposures flanking gully head just W of SD Rt. 63, at first sharp curve as road drops into breaks on N side of Moreau River, and 4.5 mi NNE of Green Grass, Dewey County, South Dakota, USA. Collected by Karl M. Waage, 1957. IP number 38281; lot count 1; original nature=part/counterpart; macroconch; accn=IPA.07048.
