Geological context: Late Cretaceous, Fox Hills Fm, Trail City Mbr. Collection locality: float, Limopsis conc., conc. 1, in gully 6 ft below Limopsis layer, prominent isolated knob to SW of main ridge, on W side of prairie trail, with several outcrops on W flanks, Long's Ridge, and 6.8 mi W of Whitehorse, Dewey County, South Dakota, USA. Collected by Ian G. Speden, 1962. IP number 344257; lot count 1; taphonomy=concretion; accn=IPA.07048; associatedwith=on same slab: IP.344242.
