Type status: syntype. Geological context: Permian. Collection locality: section along the old Carlsbad-Van Horn road about 3 mi E of the point where it emerges from the canyon at the edge of Salt Flat, at the south end of the Delaware Mountains, Culberson County, Texas, USA. Collected by Robert I. Roth. IP number 20883; lot count 1; accn=IPA.07639.
