Collection locality: Guanmenshan valley. Trail following Shi Cao River and bordering road. Growing on edge of trail, Shennongjia Forest District, Hubei, China. Collected by Patrick W. Sweeney, 2014-08-14. Shrub ca. 2 meters tall. Bark flaking. Calyx lobes on immature fruits green. Associated Collectors: Michael J.
