Type status: paratype. Geological context: Ordovician, Garden City Fm. Collection locality: 163 ft above base of Garden City, eastward along 1-mi-long measured section up from a point at St. Charles-Garden City contact about S46E from hill 8961 & slightly N of W of Franklin Basin Ranger Station, & ending at road near that Ranger Station, W side of Franklin Basin, Bear River Range, & about 12 mi E of Preston, Franklin County, Idaho, USA. Collected by Reuben J. Ross, 1946-07-20. IP number 18195; lot count 1; accn=YPM.06245.
