Collection locality: Cuttyhunk Light, N. 1/8 E., 3 3/4 miles. Drift. S., 1/4. Sand and mud bottom, Massachusetts, USA. Collected by U.S. Fish Comm. Stmr. Fish Hawk, 1880-09-03. IZ number 15704; lot count 1; type status comment: Johnson was incorrect in assigning paralectotype status to this specimen, which was not part of the syntypic series (wrong station locality).
