Geological context: Late Cretaceous, Redmond Fm. Collection locality: From a locality 10 miles south-southeast of Schefferville. Town Schefferville lies in the Knob Lake district of the Labrador Trough, close to the Quebec border. Fossils discovered in the open-pit mines of Iron Ore Company of Canada, Labrador, Quebec, Canada.
