Geological context: Late Cretaceous, Fox Hills Fm, Timber Lake Mbr. Collection locality: 30e - collection compound of all Yale colls. made from concs. in, and +/-25 ft above the "big Sphenodiscus" layer, i.e. in richest part of linguaeformis layers in and just beneath the Idonearca zone [CAZ], S side, head of southernmost gully near road, exposures flanking gully head just W of SD Rt. 63 at first sharp curve as road drops into breaks on N side of Moreau River, 4.5 mi NNE of Green Grass, Dewey County, South Dakota, USA.
