Type status: hypotype. Geological context: Late Pennsylvanian, Earp Fm. Collection locality: unit A60, 340 ft above base of Earp, along .8-mi-long N to S measured section, from base up, starting near center of N sec. 23 at crest of Mt, & ending down-slope at center of sec. 23, eastern Dunn Spring Mt, E side of Chiricahua Mt, Cochise County, Arizona, USA. Collected by Floyd F. Sabins, 1954. IP number 21916; lot count 1; accn=YPM.06409.
