Collected by Yale College Scientific Expedition 1870, 1870. skull (brain cast also) - Audit notes by PFW: Right side of a sectioned skull. Specimen has two worn cheekteeth in alveoli. Tusk is missing. Skull was sectioned sagittally and transversely. Right zygomatic arch is present, but sectioned. Specimen has right side of hard palate, condyloid fossa, auditory region and occipital condyle. Boney nasal septum present, but turbinals missing. Interior of braincase and petrous area exposed. Some bone breakage around edges of tusk alveolus.; MAM number 6570; original catalog number Osteo 71 (MAM.O.00071); accn=VZA.00012.
