Geological context: Paleogene, Renova Fm. Collection locality: Horse Prairie. Armstead (now submerged under Clark Canyon Reservoir) over Grant and the Bannack Pass on the Continental Divide, to Leadore, Idaho. 1/2 mile west of site 69.
