About this work
Pattern repeated in off-set vertical columns; two motifs repeated vertically; one a large bunch of foliage with two ears of wheat and a large flower; one a small stylized motif; vertical band between each column consisting of a repeated arrow-like symmetrical motif composed of abstract elements, highly stylized leaves, and cobweb; this motif somewhat reminiscent of Dresser in its treatment of leaves; color scheme of gray with metallic gold highlighting on pale grey ground.
