Depicted: Scherer on the left, Müller on the right. Occasionally incorrectly listed in alphabetical order in literature (Müller, Scherer). The identification of the sitters is also confirmed by the painting *The Friends*; in the corresponding woodcut, it is reversed due to the mirror image.
