About this work
An iron original of the sculpture is located in the collection of González's father-in-law Hans Hartung, Paris/Antibes (Julio González was married to Roberta, daughter of the painter Hans Hartung), according to the catalogue raisonné. The edition number is not specified (Merkert 1987, p. 259 and Degand 1956, cat. 28). The sculpture was exhibited at Documenta in 1955, 1959, and 2012.
