About this work
Nach Cynthia P. Schneider und John Walsh stammt das Gemälde wohl von einem Nachahmer oder Nachfolger des Jan Both (vgl. Ausst.-Kat. Los Angeles 1981, S. 23, Anm. 9). Das Gemälde ist stark vergilbt, so dass eine Beurteilung der Malerei zur Zeit schwierig ist.
