About this work
Fred G. Meijer (letter of April 28, 1987) does not attribute Inv. 1105 and 1106 to Jan Fyt himself, but to his long-time student David de Coninck, who was active in Rome. With this attribution, Inv. 1106 was entered into the RKD image database (Artwork No. 16026, the following number 16027 being an approximately life-size copy in private Italian ownership).
