About this work
The three floating angels formed the upper part of a right altarpiece wing. The corner spandrels visible in the gold ground were originally not gilded. Presumably, a painted or plastic arch was once placed here as the upper panel closure. The today lost lower part of the panel probably showed a saint figure.
