Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Technicians at NASA’s Hangar AE, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), check the attachment of the Swift spacecraft to the payload attach fitting, the interface between the spacecraft and the second stage of the Boeing Delta II rocket. Swift is a first-of-its-kind multi-wavelength observatory dedicated to the study of gamma-ray burst (GRB) science.
