About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — On the table is a mother board with electronic components that could be used in a spare orbiter point sensor chassis. Faulty readings in the liquid hydrogen tank low-level fuel cut-off sensor are being investigated because one of the four sensors failed a routine prelaunch check during the launch countdown July 13, causing mission managers to scrub Discovery's first launch attempt.
