Expedition 36 NASA Flight Engineer Karen Nyberg is seen waving goodbye to friends and family after boarding the bus that will take her to the Soyuz launch pad hours ahead of her launch, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Launch of the Soyuz rocket will send Nyberg, Soyuz Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and European Space Agency Flight Engineer Luca Parmitano on a five and a half-month mission aboard the International Space Station.
