Listening to a trainer explain use of the slidewire basket they are standing in are STS-97 Commander Brent Jett and Mission Specialists Carlos Noriega and Marc Garneau, who is with the Canadian Space Agency. The emergency egress training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities, which also include a simulated launch countdown and opportunities for the crew to inspect the mission payloads in the orbiter’s payload bay.
