About this work

Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Space Shuttle Endeavour, resting on the Mobile Launcher Platform, sits on Launch Pad 39A after its slow rollout from the Vehicle Assembly Building. On the left is the Rotating Service Structure, which is still open. The RSS will rotate around the Shuttle to provide protected access to the orbiter. Endeavour is scheduled to launch Nov. 10 on mission STS-113, the 16th assembly flight to the International Space Station.
