Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Containers inside the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at KSC contain elements associated with the Mars Exploration Rovers Mission. The cruise stage, aeroshell and lander for MER-2 have been delivered for processing. Set to launch in 2003, the Mars Exploration Rover Mission will consist of two identical rovers designed to cover roughly 110 yards (100 meters) each Martian day.
