Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — One of the operators of the external tank transporter sits on the side of the vehicle. Carrying external tank #120, the transporter is making the turn toward the nearby Turn Basin. The tank will be loaded onto the barge Pegasus for towing to NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana for additional modifications. This tank is the first of the newly designed tanks that were delivered to Kennedy.
