About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building, the external tank designated for Space Shuttle Discovery is lifted by crane off its transporter for the move to high bay 3. There it will be stacked with the solid rocket boosters already in place on the mobile launcher platform. Discovery is scheduled to launch on mission STS-121 in July.
