Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — On the floor of the Space Station Processing Facility, a worker checks the placement of the container with the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) remote manipulator system inside. The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency developed the laboratory known as "Kibo" (Hope) and includes an exposed facility (platform) for space environment experiments, the RMS and two logistics modules.
