About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — External tank No. 124 is lowered between the twin solid rocket boosters in high bay 1 of the Vehicle Assembly Building. The tank will be mated with the SRBs, already in place on the mobile launcher platform, for mission STS-117. The mission is targeted to launch on March 16 aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis.
