About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The orbiter Endeavour hangs above the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building. The attached sling will raise it to vertical and lift it into the upper levels of the VAB. Then it will be moved to high bay 1 and stacked with the e1ternal tank and solid rocket boosters on the mobile launcher platform. Endeavour will be launched on mission STS-118, its first flight in more than four years.
