KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- In the slidewire basket bunker area of Launch Pad 39A, STS-118 Pilot Charlie Hobaugh waits to begin a media interview before the crew's morning training activities in the terminal countdown demonstration test, or TCDT. Those activities include M-113 training, payload familiarization, the emergency egress training at the pad and a simulated launch countdown.
