SAN DIEGO, Calif. – NASA, Lockheed Martin and U.S. Navy personnel monitor the Orion boilerplate test vehicle as the well deck of the USS Anchorage fills with water during a portion of the Orion Underway Recovery Test 2 in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego. The testing is being conducted to prepare for recovery of the Orion crew module on its return from a deep-space mission.
