Inside the Integrated Processing Facility at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, United Launch Alliance (ULA) technicians prepare to perform ultraviolet and white light inspections on one of two ULA Atlas V rocket payload fairings for NASA’s Landsat 9 satellite on June 17, 2021. The fairings will encapsulate the satellite for its launch atop the Atlas V from Vandenberg in September 2021.
