Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The Pressurized Mating Adapter (PMA)-2 for the International Space Station (ISS), seen here in its yellow workstand, is moved on an air pallet toward Node 1, the space station’s structural building block, in KSC’s Space Station Processing Facility. This PMA is a cone-shaped connector to Node 1, which will have two PMAs attached once PMA-2 is mated with the node.
