KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- STS-106 Mission Specialist Yuri I. Malenchenko makes a speedy exit from the Shuttle Atlantis into the White Room during emergency egress training. Right behind him is Mission Specialist Daniel C. Burbank. The training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Activities (TCDT) the crew is undertaking at Launch Pad 39B. The TCDT also provides the crew with opportunities to inspect their mission payload in the orbiter’s payload bay, and a simulated launch countdown.
