Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the Vehicle Assembly Building, the orbiter Atlantis is being lifted from a transporter after rolling over from the Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3. The orbiter will be raised to a vertical position, rotated and lifted up and over to a high bay and stacked with its external tank and solid rocket boosters.
