About this work
STS060-83-004 (3-11 Feb 1994) --- In this winter scene of the Grand Canyon of Arizona, the canyon is particularly well revealed because snow lies on the rims of the canyon, and exits mid-right; the Little Colorado River enters from the left, joining the Colorado just upstream of its big bend. Visitors to the South Rim can view the canyon in both the east-west and north-south reaches.
