About this work

<I>The Biography of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence</I> is a five-volume work edited by John Sanderson, and published by William Brown and Charles Peters in Philadelphia in 1828. This volume contained the biographies of Thomas M’Kean, Samuel Chase, William Paca, Thomas Stone, Charles Carroll, George Wythe, Richard Henry Lee, and Thomas Jefferson.
