<I>The Biography of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence</I> is a five-volume work edited by John Sanderson, and published by William Brown and Charles Peters in Philadelphia in 1828. This volume contained the biographies of Benjamin Harrison, Thomas Nelson Jr., Francis Lightfoot Lee, Carter Braxton, William Hooper, Joseph Hewes, John Penn, Edward Rutledge, Thomas Heyward, Thomas Lynch, Arthur Middleton, Button Gwinnett, Lyman Hall, and George Walton.
