About this work
Heart-shaped trivet with elongated diamond or lozenge handle, formed of four pieces forge-welded together at center. Three, S-scroll, swivel legs; the two at back smaller than the one at front, which terminates in a small heart. Top center of body stamped with dots possibly forming the roman letters "J / J"; additional stamped design on face of heart terminal. No other marks.
