About this work
Wool bunting pennant flag. White field with red pie-shaped triangles in each corner. The edges of the triangles facing the center of the flag are convex. Blue circle in the center of the flag. White cotton open sleeve heading is machine-stitched and does not have grommets. Flag seams are flat-felled and machine-stitched with undyed, red, and black cotton thread. Hand-sewn whipstitch at the tip of the fly to finish the seam. Inscription on hoist reads "4th Brg. 3rd Div'n 1st Army Corps".
