The baked enamel label on this square-shaped drug jar is marked "BOL ARMEN", above an alchemical symbol, Double PPs with a line running through the stems. Armenia Bole or bolis, is a type of red clay found in Armenia and areas of the Middle East. It was used internally for gastric complaints.
